Background
After graduating from Arizona State University with a Master’s in Criminology, I went into law school, only to find out later that I did not want to be a lawyer!
I then entered one of the most rewarding times in my life. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Master’s in Addiction Counseling, another Master’s in Professional Counseling, and a certification in Life Coaching.
Experience
My experience in therapy has been vast, as I started out working with autistic and neurodivergent clients and then transitioned to those dealing with addiction and dual diagnoses.
From there, I have worked in general mental health and was most recently employed by an Arizona state prison. Since then, I have opened my own private practice and now enjoy the ability to work with a diverse group of clients.
I enjoy using various approaches to include CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing).
Some fun facts about me are:
I have two pets: A pig named Harry and a dog named Francis. (They are awesome!)
I love to travel: So far, Belize has been my favorite place that I have explored. I really want to go to New Zealand.
I love reading and binging Netflix (sometimes I am in a reading mood, and other times I love watching something fun on the television)!!
